I have seen friends using this hash-tag on pictures for a while now and I finally got curious enough to research and see what it was all about.
Google brought me to 100 Happy Days. The purpose of this challenge is to engage us in celebrating the daily things in life that make us happy. Which ultimately serves as a daily reminder to be thankful and appreciate all that God has blessed us with.
I completely love this idea. I mean who doesn’t want something to be happy about for 100 days, if not every day of their life? But sometimes we get so busy and we get so preoccupied with life that we forget to take time to enjoy the little things, that you know…make us happy.
So…I have decided to join the movement and my 100 Happy Days will begin tomorrow May 1st. I will probably choose to share a few of my favorites or who knows maybe all of my pictures with you here on my blog, but if you want to make sure you don’t miss anything then you can follow me on Instagram at cheryltruett.
Basically you take a picture everyday for 100 days of something that makes you happy, you upload it to the social media of your choice (I chose Instagram), then you just make sure you use the hash-tag that you have chosen to represent your 100 Happy Days. I will use the basic hash-tag suggested by the website (#100HappyDays) and then my own hash-tag (#cheryltruetts100happydays) to group all my pictures together.
I really encourage you to look into this project and follow along in this challenge with me.
No matter what stage of life we are each in, I think all of us can use a little more happy in our lives.
So now I leave you with this…What makes YOU happy??
